What makes great olympians distinct from others
I was watching the video of Girl’s artistic gymnastics final in youtube. Winner was America’s Nastia Lukin 2007 world champion and now a gold medalist in Olympics. I was reading more about her and from what i read one thing was clear for a event like Olympics you need to dedicate a lot of time and effort.

Nastia spends atleast 36 hours a week practicing Gymnastics. Well due to the amount of sponsors she has the earnings go in Millions a year she can rest peacefully and live a happy life till the end. But she doesn’t do it she is hungry for more. Despite of winning few world championships she continues to be dominant in woman’s gymnastics. Does an average man or woman do that? 99.9% NO.
Human beings are meant to be self sufficient when they get what they need to lead a decent happy life they settle for it. Most of us don’t think taking risk is worth it but the great Olympians think the other way around. They like to risk their life for the sake of fame and recognition. That is what makes them stand out as a 1 in 1 million crowd. We should be ready to take risks, take the pain to achieve something great in life. A olympic gold medal will be remembered even 100 years down the road how many people leave such a mark in their life, i estimate very very few ones.
Great Olympians like Michael Phelps, nastia spends hours and hours practicing for that one day of their life. We are not ready for it we get ready only for tomorrow and never think beyond i am sure seeing the Olympians we will get our inspiration and will achieve something that people will remember after we leave this world.
Hats off to the great winners of Olympics i bow to them
