    Leopard cares for baby baboon

    October 21st, 2008 at 4:04pm |

Remarkable footage – Reminds me of the story of Romulus and Remus being nurtured by a wolf along the banks of the Tiber. It’s not a stretch to see that animals are often more “humane” than we humans. Quite moving… thanks for sharing!’ Also it reminds me of a similar story : there is a nice story about a lioness in Kenya who adopts baby antelopes, she really tries to look after them and protects them from other predators with her life. Unfortunately she can’t feed them and they all die from hunger. Sweet, sad and totally amazing at the same time.I saw the documentary on National Geographic, totally amazing. Can’t post the exact site here but just google lioness and baby antelope.
