One might story of “JAB WE MET” is exceptionally superb and awesome. The story is full of entertainment with love and sentiments. After “SOCHA NA THA” director Imtiaz Ali once again with jab we met proved that he is the best story tellers in bollywood.

Jab we met is the story of two hearts. They meet up in very unusual situation and from there their love story begins to develop. Aditya (Shahid kapoor), an industrialist is heartbroken, who drifts out of the gathering and aimlessly board a train. There he meets up Geet (kareena kapoor) a very talkative girl travels in same train for her home town-bhatinda.

Geet irritates Aditya so much that he is forced to leave the train. And when she tries to retry him back on train, she ends up with missing the train too. Then Aditya help her to reach home. On arrival, Geet’s Family mistakes both to be lovers. Before this misunderstanding is cleared, Geet escape to her Boyfriend in Manali with Aditya. It was a positive turn for Aditya and he starts doing well. Geet family, who think that she is with him, confronts Aditya. Aditya is shock to know that Geet has not returned home from nine months. Then he takes it upon to find her any how. He then moves to Manali to the place where he left her for the last time and meets her boyfriend who has ditched her.

Finally, he tracks her down in the Himalayan town and begins another journey to bhatinda with her boyfriend along with them. At last she feels that she actually love Aditya and get married to him instead of her boyfriend. The best point about this movie is its story flow is evenly matched by good performances. Among all the movies Shahid has given his best performance in this movie and kareena too proved to be on the path of karishma kapoor.

Another most important thing that makes this movie as watchable is the music of the pritam. On the whole “jab we met” is the one of the finest romantic film of bollywood in 2007.
