Fashion – Hindi Movie hit movie and a definite eye opener

    December 12th, 2008 at 2:02am |

    the glamorous-priyanka chopra

Again a outstanding film by Madhur Bhandarkar after Chandni Bar, Page 3, Corporate and Traffic Signal, based on the dark matters which go round the world of fashion. I liked the movie a lot. I think it was very difficult to present so many issues related with such huge FASHION industry in such a small duration of 3 hrs. But Madhur Bhandarkar has done a gr8 job as always. He has again lived up to the expectations of the audience. He has successfully portrayed the glamour, lust, pain, success and fall in the industry without pointing out to someone in particular.

After giving flop films like Love Story 2050, Chamku, God Tussi Gr8 Ho and Drona, Priyanka has given a stunning and competent performance in Fashion. Priyanka chopra redefined her and proved that she is no non-sense actress. I liked that madhur didn’t went in to every small hidden details of real life which is visible in all his films. This time he has shown reality but in a way that it doesn’t looks like condemn of the theme.

Though Kangna’s role is not as lengthy as that of Priyanka, she has proved that she is the real star by her awesome performance in Fashion and her overall performance deserves an ovation. Debutante Mughda pitches in a confident portrayal of the sweet and sensitive buddy. . According to me, Fashion is really fabulous film and Priyanka, Kangana and Mugdha deserve an ovation for their mind-blowing performance in the movie……………..!! But I hope end could have been much better and kangana who was so over-hyped in this movie could have been utilized for a full fledged character rather than being a supporting actress.

What else justification we can expect. At least we are aware of few negativities of this glamorous world too, and hopefully it can also act as a guide to those new generation people who are more then willing to join this world, but they are too immature, or too ignorant about the other face of the coin. I won’t say that the other face is ugly, but at least makes them aware and mentally prepared for the best and the worst. This movie is an eye-opener for everyone who is fighting to reach their ultimate goal of success. Apparently it deals with the fashion world but it can relate to every ambitious people of every profession where you lose your morals without realizing it yourself. Congratulation Madhur Bhandarkar and his team… Once again.
