A fish with transparent head:
I just read an article on discovery blog where a fish has a head that is transparent and it can see things even above his head. Sounds very weird and this is a first time I am seeing something like this I am not sure whether it’s a new species or it has evolved into one like this but its very new to the sea world. See the pictures below:
Experts believe this fish has this unusual feature because it helps them see all around their head. To have a dinner of a poisonous jelly fish should be a bold and well calculated decision. A fish has to make sure where it is catching the jelly fish before it consumes it one wrong hold and a sting from jelly fish can kill the fish. This creature like fish should have extraordinary eye sight to find the right spot to make the kill. This fish is called Macropinna microstoma or in common term barrel eyes. I am sure you will be overwhelmed by seeing this fish the same way I do.
