Traditional pilots hate it because it threatens their preconceived notions about who should fly, and what an airplane should look like, and how they should operate. To them I say, get used to it, the common folk are coming to a sky near you, Making a plane that can turn into a car is great! It answers the age old question of general aviation of how to get anywhere after you land at a small municipal airport.

I agree with some of the points the interviewer says. He’s not only unenthusiastic and pessimistic, I get the sense that he’s a bit envious of the designer’s talent and ingenuity. This is the first concept I’ve seen that I’d say is the closest to being production ready. And while nearly $200,000 is a lot of money for a vehicle, it’s relatively cheap in the aircraft world. And as production increases, prices should decrease. I hope this innovative design will be a success. Best of Luck!
